Home Sweet Home

This is our home while we stay in Kiev. We actually live on the other side of the building but I thought this angle was more..."picturesque". It's a 9-story building that is thankfully within walking distance of all our needs: next to the market, across the street from the canal, who could ask for a better location?

I'm so pleased to see another eastern European photo blog - I will be spending several months next year between Romania and Moldova with my work/study. This picture brought back lots of memories of the places I have lived in both of them. Looking forward to reading more of your blog.
