Berries


Looking up through the berries into the blue sky. I took this picture while walking along the Dnipro River that runs through the middle of Kiev.

It is rowanberries, mountain ash, what our family missed in New Zealand. I used to eat them when found in the autumn forest.

I like your blog, it is a fresh view, different from opinions of locals. Your "rustic" door is an ordinary door, most of them in Kiev are similar. Great job!

And have you ever taste salted salo (lard)? It is delicious!

is the name of the river Dnipro in English? We call it Dneper (we write: dnyeper) which sounds soooo wonderful slavic to me.:)
